St Peter's is just a few hundred yards from the High Street, Harbour Street, and the Harbour, half-way down Sydenham Street as it meets St Peter's Street.

There are seven car parks identifiable on the map, three of which are only about five minutes’ walk from the church. The railway station is about a ten-minute walk and connects with the Ramsgate to Chatham to London Victoria line.
